Introducing Our Community Opshops

Empower Your Club's, School or Organisations Revenue and Supports the prevention of men's suicide

Welcome to a unique opportunity where you take charge of your own Opshop, driving revenue directly to your club or organisation. Our Community Opshops initiative allows you to keep all the proceeds for yourselves while making a significant impact on fundraising.

Become a part of the Community Opshop movement, supported by the Men’s Mental Health Foundation (MMHF), a registered charity, dedication to preventing men’s suicide. By simply donating to our charity’s Community Opshop initiative, you not only boost your own fundraising efforts but also contribute to a crucial cause.

Every Opshop license donation fuels the Guardians program by MMHF, providing vital support to men in imminent danger, particularly in heavy industries and construction. Your contribution doesn’t just stop there; it helps raise awareness and addresses the root causes of this issue in our communities.

Join us in creating a positive change. Be a part of an amazing Opshop where every dollar you earn stays within your club or organisation, making a real difference in your revenue stream.

Examples Of OpShops

Uppercumbukter West FC

UWFC needs more revenue to pay for a few new footies, electricity or new jumpers or even a special effort to fund new netball team posts and facilities – this money adds significantly to the money from your meat raffles and money from hard working canteen volunteers efforts

With your own OCO Opshop you keep all the money selling your own second hand “stuff”

Things like old club jumpers, footies, items around the club and even you shed at home. You can sell what you like (except electrical goods for obvious reasons) with a simple donation to MMHF to help prevent mens suicide

Jinboon Eastern Basketball League

All the revenue from JEBL’s OCO Opshop goes directly to cut back the organisation costs of running the League. Reducing overhead costs, paying for administration or even perhaps enabling free membership for players. It is all possible with your own OCO Opshop

JEBL perhaps has a central shed for its supports to drop off secondhand items and has a weekly or monthly Opshop “open” run by your own volunteers

You can sell what you like (except electrical goods for obvious reasons) with a simple donation to MMHF to help prevent mens suicide

Mostworthy University High School

At MUHS your monthly second hand items could include books, uniforms, old furniture and “stuff” in teachers or parents homes they want to get rid of. Your OCO Opshop is open one day a week at the schools OCO Opshop store where mums and dads and students drop off and come to buy
MUHS OCO Opshop  could enable students to run the OCO Opshop or perhaps be part of their business school curriculum. All revenue stays with MUHS
You can sell what you like (except electrical goods for obvious reasons) with a simple donation to MMHF to help prevent mens suicide
